Tairua Local Information

Tairua is a small coastal town located on the East Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula in the north island of New Zealand.

 

Tairua BeacTairua-Beach-North-Endh is great for surfing or just lying in the sand. Take a kayak trip down the local estuary and rivers or walk our local bush tracks.

Tairua is near many well-known surf beaches and dive spots including the Aldermen Islands, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Hahei.Get the Hot Water Beach low tide timetable here.
